Holiday Schedule
The City of Plano Environmental Waste Services observes 7 holidays throughout the year. When a holiday falls on a scheduled collection day, collections scheduled on or after that holiday will be delayed by ONE DAY during the same collection week. For example, if your regular collection is Tuesday and a Monday holiday occurs, your collection moves to Wednesday. There is NO yard trimmings collection December 26-31. Holidays observed include: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (if on weekday), and Christmas Day. Check plano.gov/EWS or call (972) 769-4150 for specific holiday week schedules.
