Holiday Schedule

City of Laredo Solid Waste Services observes major federal holidays with adjusted collection schedules. When a holiday falls on a regular collection day, garbage collection is typically rescheduled. For Christmas (December 25), if it falls on Monday, the Monday garbage route is moved to Wednesday, while recycling routes remain as scheduled. For New Year's Day, the Monday garbage route is moved to Wednesday, and subsequent routes may be delayed by one day. Thursday recycling is moved to Friday, and Friday recycling is collected on Saturday. For Thanksgiving, anticipate significant delays in trash services. Always check the official schedule at laredosolidwaste.com or call 3-1-1 for holiday-specific updates.
