Holiday Schedule
Charlotte observes the following holidays with collection delays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. When a holiday falls on a regular collection day, service is delayed by ONE DAY for that week only. For example, if your regular collection day is Monday and the holiday falls on Monday, your collection moves to Tuesday. Check the CLT+ app, city website, or call 311 for specific holiday schedules. Charlotte does NOT delay collection for Independence Day if it falls on a non-collection day.
